Connecticut has chosen a design for six frequently built park structures including visitor’s centers, camp offices, entry pavilions, toilet buildings and group shelters through a competition among 52 architects and five finalists. The statewide competition called for giving State parks buildings a uniform architectural theme, a style intended to be recognizable, comfortable and evocative of the landscape that blends harmoniously with both coastal dunes and inland forests and lakes.
